Carlos Yulo tops floor exercise, qualifies for finals of four events in World Gymnastics Championships
Filipino Olympian and gymnast Carlos Yulo on Tuesday qualified for the finals of four events in the 2022 World Gymnastics Championships in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
Yulo topped his pet event floor exercise after getting a score of 15.266, with 8.86 on execution and 6.400 in difficulty.

The world gold medalist will also have a chance to defend his title after qualifying for the vault finals where he finished second with an average score of 14.849, behind Armenia's Artur Davtyan who finished with 14.900.

Yulo also qualified in the men's all-around after finishing third and parallel bars finals where he made it to the fourth spot.

The Filipino gymnast won the gold in floor back in 2019 and the gold in vault in 2021. He claimed a silver medal in parallel bars from last year's championships.
The men's all-around final will be held on November 4, while the floor exercise will be played on November 5. The vault and parallel bars finals will be held on November 6 (UK time).
