PBE's AK qualifies for the TEKKEN World Tour 2022 Global Finals

Alexandre "AK" Laverez, bannering PlayBook Esports Team, secured his slot to the TEKKEN World Tour 2022 Global Finals after emerging as the runaway winner in the Philippines and East Asia region with 450pts.

He will be vying for the world crown against 24 of the best Tekken players around the world in the Global Finals slated February 4-5, 2023 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The 2019 Southeast Asian Games medalist dominated the competition in the region, almost doubling the score of second-running Juliano "Jules" Lozano who had 250pts. Stablemmate and 2019 Southeast Asian Games bronze medalist Andreij "Doujin" Albar finished fourth with 140pts.

It was a sigh of relief for AK having narrowly missed the Tekken World Tour Finals in 2019 after finishing a close second in the Last Chance Qualifiers behind Pakistan's Bilal "Bilal" Ilyas.
