Demonkite's savage caps off RSG's resurrection from deep with reverse sweep of TNC
Jonard Cedrix "Demonkite" Caranto scored his first career Savage to propel RSG Philippines to a 2-1 reverse sweep of TNC Pro Team in Week 6 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 10 on Friday.
It was all TNC until ill-advised aggressions in Game 2 gave RSG the opportunity to score the reverse in style and hold on to the second spot in the rankings with 17 points going into their last five season matches.
Despite battling against a Fanny pick in Game 1, it was TNC who took the early game lead, erecting a slim net worth lead until a 2-1 exchange in a top lane engage during the 8th minute increased the economy lead to 2k.
The game reached a long standstill with TNC slowly chipping away all inhibitor turrets until they ventured into dangerous waters in the 20th minute when they initiated team fight resulting in a 3-1 tradeoff for RSG.
Mark "Kramm" Rustana (Paquito) had to save the day a minute later as he shutdown Emann "EMANN" Sangco (Karrie) during the pivotal lord dance that enabled Daniel "SDzyz" Chu to secure the lord and take the opener.
It looked like a sweep was on the way when TNC took an 11k net worth lead in the 23rd minute of Game 2 plus a marching enhanced lord but things started to collapse when they tried to force the a team fight in the 25th minute that gave RSG a pick off and better map control.
SDzyz (Aamon) was then caught out of position in the 27th minute that resulted in a pick off and quick take downs of two outer turrets.
RSG completed the comeback by taking two more kills in the midlane during a 28th minute skirmish that rendered TNC's base turret almost defenseless for the equalizer.
Banking on a rousing Game 2 comeback, RSG continued to pressure TNC in the decider, taking a 3-1 kill spread by the 5th minute courtesy of Light's (Chou) excellent setups and initiation that gave him a 2-0-1 KDA at that point.
RSG continued to control the match until Demonkite (Karina) went on rampage off a 16th minute lord fight, scoring a savage to wipeout TNC and take the series.
