Blacklist remains perfect in MPL PH S10 with sweep of Bren
Blacklist International picked up where they left off as they swept Bren Esports, 2-0, for their third win in as many matches in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 10 on Saturday.
The Tier One-backed squad remained the only undefeated team in the league after Echo dropped to Omega earlier today. They sit atop the standings with eight points on a 3-0 win loss card.
In Game 1, Blacklist had to weather the early game lead of Bren through a sneaky lord take in the 10th minute then followed it up with a 13th minute pick off on Rowgien Stimpson “Owgwen” Unigo (Franco) that they converted into a luminous lord to take control of the match.
The M2 world champions though were not to be outdone as Owgwen's flicker + Bloody Hunt play in the 18th minute sparked a 4-2 tradeoff, giving Bren some breathing room.
Salic “Hadji” Imam (Xavier) had to deliver the goods in a 21st minute lord fight to score a double kill and help Blacklist complete a 3-0 counter initiation to go up 1-0.
With momentum on their side, Blacklist continued the rampage in Game 2, starting with a 4-1 4th minute kill spread that they easily extended into a 9th minute 8-2 kill spread to dictate the tempo of the match.
They easily scored the sweep owing to a dominating 15-4 kill tally on a 14-minute conquest.
Kiel “OHEB” Soriano (Beatrix) once again displayed superb marksmanship, finishing with a 7-1-4 KDA.
