E2max jokes about momentum-swinging clash that led to reverse sweep of Echo

During Omega Esports' Week 2 series against Echo, the MSC 2021 champions had to clutch a close Game 2 ending that saw them come alive from a 1-on-5 base turret defense situation to complete the comeback and dominate the decider.

Midlaner Patrick “E2MAX” Caidic, whose Faramis played a vital role in the defense, explained how Omega survived the dire situation.

"Sinabi ni Ch4knu out na ako. Basta ako yung mabuhay. Pinilit kong maka-out. Hinabol nila ako tas nabawas-bawasan ko sila... Finorce nila akong patayin, Siguro di na nila napansin yung creeps tas si Renzio nandun. Nagsiflicker in agad sila eh,"

It was at this sequence that Renzio positioned himself perfectly to prevent Echo's creeps from entering the base turret territory to add additional defense and delay the push.

Everything aligned for Omega and they had an unlikely book to thank for that.

"Di na nila napansin yung creeps nila na hindi pala nakapasok. Tas yun, parang biglang lumabas si lord. Parang savior," E2max said in jest.

E2max was referring to the luminous lord that spawned moments after jungler Dean Christian “Raizen” Sumagui (Thamuz) secured the lord before the team suffered a 4-0 punish from Echo.

It may have been a coincidence but the clutch sequence helped Omega find their footing and avenge their Sibol IESF qualifiers loss at the hands of the same Echo line-up.
