Hesa shows flexibility in MPL Cambodia debut, gifts Coach Zico with 2nd win
Goldlaner Jhonwin "Hesa" Vergara proved he was worth the wait as he displayed flexibility as BURN X Flash swept CFU Esports, 2-0, in Week 2 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Cambodia Autumn Split 2022 on Saturday.
His deep hero pool was in full display during his debut as he took a Popol and Kupa pick in the opener then unleashed a surprise Zhask pick in the close out game for the team coached by Filipino John "Zico" Dizon.
Hesa (Popol and Kupa) made his presence felt in Game 1 by lording over the gold lane and surviving the enemy ambush attempts multiple times.
The Filipino import finished with an immaculate 1-0-4 KDA.
In Game 2, Hesa once again delivered despite playing an unusual Zhask goldlaner and finished with a stellar 3-4-15 KDA to complete the sweep.
BURN X Flash is now 2-0 in the season with their wins all coming from sweeps to sit atop the standings.
They next face defending champion Impunity KH on Sunday.
