Ernie Gawilan, Roland Sabido, Cendy Asusano win gold medals in ASEAN Para Games
The Philippines started winning gold medals in the 11th ASEAN Para Games in Indonesia on Monday.
According to the Philippine Sports Commission, Ernie Gawilan led the gold medal haul as he finished first in the men's 400 meter freestyle S7.

Cendy Asuseno also bagged a gold in the Women's Javelin throw F54 event.

Arnel Aba also claimed a silver in the men's 400 meter freestyle S9 event.
Meanwhile, the PSC also announced that Daniel Esteres, Jr. (para athletics men's 5000m T20), Edwin Villanueva (men's 400m freestyle), and Smith Billy Cartera, Racleo Martinez and Darwin Salvacion (men's table tennis TT4) bagged bronze medals in the Para Games.
On Sunday, the Philippines had its first medal in the Para Games: a silver from men's 3x3 wheelchair basketball.
