Elreen Ando settles for silver in SEA Games women's weightlifting
Tokyo Olympian Elreen Ando claimed a silver medal for weightlifting in the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam on Saturday.
Ando finished with a total of 223 kg lift to finish second behind Vietnam's Thi Hong Thanh Pham who logged 230 kg and a new SEA Games record in the women's 64 kg event.

Ando had her best record in snatch in her third attempt at 103 kg. She lifted 120 kg in her first attempt in clean and jerk, but failed the next two attempts at 125kg.
The Philippine weightlifting team has a gold medal from Hidilyn Diaz, silver from Elreen Ando, and bronze from Rosegie Ramos.
