Fencers add two more bronze medals to Team Philippines' SEA Games haul
The Philippine fencing team added two more medals to its haul as fencing events wrapped up in the 31st Southeast Asian Games on Wednesday in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The women's sabre team composed of Jylyn Nicanor, Queen Denise Dalmacio, Allaine Nicole Cortey, and Kemberly Camahalan nabbed the bronze medal after falling to Vietnam, 45-29, in the semis.

Meanwhile, the men's foil team of Nathaniel Perez, Sammuel Tranquilan, Michael Nicanor, and Francis Felipe claimed a bronze as well after losing to Malaysia, 45-40, in the semifinals of the said event.
In total, the national team had one gold, three silvers, and four bronzes in the biennial meet.
