Erika Bomogao, Rhichein Yosorez deliver first muay gold for Philippines
The tandem of Islay Erika Bomogao and Rhichein Yosorez clinched the Philippines' first gold medal in muay after ruling the women's waikru mai muay finals at the 31st SEA Games on Tuesday.
The duo tallied 8.68 points to edge home bets Thi Diem Trang Pham and Thi Bich Lieu Pham of Vietnam who settled for silver after scoring 8.56 in the tournament held at Vinh Phuc Gymnasium.
Thailand's Maiwadee Heetnoo and Thanawan Thongduang bagged the bronze after collecting 8.35 points.

Meanwhile, Jericho Rivera clinched the bronze medal in the cycling MTB cross country event after clocking in one hour, 20 minutes and .04 seconds behind gold medalist Zaenal Fanani of Indonesia.
