Carlos Yulo wins gold in horizontal bars to conclude his SEA Games campaign

Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo wrapped up his campaign in 31st Southeast Asian Games with another gold as he ruled the men's horizontal bars event on Monday at the Quan Ngua Sports Palace in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Yulo topped the event with a score of 13.867 to forge a two-way tie with home bet Dinh Thanh Phuong for the top spot.

Another Vietnam bet in Thanh Tung Le grabbed the bronze medal after collecting 13.433 points.

The latest feat will be Yulo's fifth gold medal after ruling the vault, rings, floor, and the men's all-around.

The young athlete also had a silver medal after he and other Philippine gymnasts Jan Timbang, Juancho Besana, Justin Ace de Leon, John Matthew Vergara, and John Ivan Cruz, settled for silver in the team event.
