Arnel Mandal gets another gold for wushu
Following Agatha Wong's golden performance on Sunday, another wushu athlete added a gold medal to the country's medal collection in the 31st Southeast Asian Games.
On Sunday, Arnel Mandal defeated Indonesia's Laksamana Pandu, 2-0, in the finals for the men's sanda 56 kg title.
Wushu has two gold medals, with the other one from Wong in the women's taolu taijijian, and a silver, also from Wong in the women's taolu taijiqian.
The Philippines also has five bronze medals from Wushu from Clemente Tabugara, Jr., Gideon Fred Padua, Francisco Solis, Divine Wally, and Jones Inso.

Based on the SEA Games website, the wushu team has seven medals from the biennial meet.
