Carlos Yulo wins gold; Pinoy gymnasts claim silver in SEA Games

Filipino Olympian and gymnast Carlos Yulo aced another gold medal after his performance in the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam.

Yulo topped the all-around tournament with an individual total of 85.150 points for his performance in all apparatus.

Together with other Philippine gymnasts Jan Timbang (71.800), Juancho Besana (71.750), Justin Ace de Leon (59.600), John Matthew Vergara (42.450), and John Ivan Cruz (37.850), the team tallied a total of 301.600 points in the team event to claim the silver medal for the team event.

Vietnamese gymnasts Thanh Tung Le (84.050) and Phuong Thanh Dihn (82.450) settled for the next two spots in the individual awards.

Vietnam bagged the gold in the team event with 331.250 points while Singapore settled for bronze with 297.650 points.
