RSG books ticket to MSC 2021 with sweep of TNC in upper bracket finals

RSG Philippines continued with their streak in the playoffs as they scored another sweep, this time against TNC Pro Team, 3-0, to book the first grand finals slot in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 9 on Saturday.
With the win, RSG took the first Philippine slot to the MLBB Southeast Asian Cup 2022 in Malaysia. They haven't dropped a single match in the playoffs this season.
In Game 1, TNC quickly pulled ahead with timely early game pickoffs courtesy of Daniel "SDzyz" Chu's (Hayabusa) 2-0-0 KDA.
But RSG put together seven unanswered kills to go up 9-2 on the tally by the 6th minute led by Jonard Cedrix "Demonkite" Caranto's (Baxia) 7-0-2 KDA. It was all RSG from as they posted a 19-5 kill domination, 1-0.
RSG engaged TNC in a nip-and-tuck affair early in Game 3 but mounted the pressure after a 3-0 wipe in the 8th minute.
With Arvie "Aquaaa" Calderon's (Yve) beautiful positioning and pinpoint deployment of Real World Manipulation, RSG scored a decisive 5-1 wipeout in the 12th minute to reach match point, 2-0.
RSG completed the sweep in dominant form, not dropping a single turret in the close out game. They took a 17-7 kill lead in a 17-minute conquest.
Aqua (Pharsa) once again keyed the victory with timely execution of Feathered Airstrike en route to a 4-0-11 KDA.
TNC will dispute the last grand finals with Omega Esports tomorrow.
