Bren puts TNC's upper bracket aspirations in limbo with sweep on final day of regular season

Already out of the playoff picture, Bren Esports played the spoilers in a massive 2-0 sweep of TNC Pro Team to end their Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 9 campaign on a positive note on Sunday.
With the loss, TNC needs Echo to lose in their final match later today to get the last ticket to the upper bracket. A win by Echo means that TNC will begin their playoff campaign with a do-or-die match against the 6th seed (either Omega or Nexplay Evos).
Bren ended up with 14pts (5-9) in a tie for 7th place with Blacklist International, 2 pts off of NXPE who has 1 match to play later today.
In Game 1, TNC easily established a 4-0 kill spread by the 3rd minute courtesy of Jomearie “Escalera” Delos Santos' (Escalera) 2-0-1 KDA.
They continued leading despite Marco “SUPER MARCO” Stephen's (Brody) double kill in a 9th minute lord steal, boasting a 9-3 kill spread.
But Bren was not to be outdone as time and again they snatched away the 13th minute luminous lord then another in the 17th minute that they capped off with a 3-0 wipe to complete a massive reverse, 1-0.
Bren ended up leading 14-11 on the kill tally in Game 1. SUPER MARCO finished with an 8-1-3 KDA.
Bren continued to pressure TNC in Game 2 with Vincent “Pandora” Unigo (Phoveus) scoring an early game pickoff on Daniel “SDzyz” Chu (Lancelot) to help his team command control of the map.
They were up by a massive 6k gold lead in the 12th minute after a luminous lord take despite an even 4-4 kill tally.
Bren then scored a 3-0 wipe in the 16th minute off a luminous lord take to complete the sweep.
