Eminem takes a knee at the Super Bowl LVI halftime show

Rapper Eminem was among the musical performers at the halftime show of Super Bowl LVI on Sunday (Monday in Manila time) and he was not afraid to make a statement as he took a knee during the performance.

The act of taking a knee had been a strong statement in the NFL since Colin Kaepernick started doing it during the national anthem back in 2016 in protest of racial inequality and police violence.

Other stars who performed during the show included Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and 50 Cent.
