Blacklist International ranks 7th in world's most watched esports teams in 2021

Blacklist International has landed on the world's top 10 most watched esports teams following its huge success in 2021.

In a data released by analytical agency Esports Charts, Blacklist is the seventh most popular esports teams in 2021, which saw them cop back to back MPL Philippines titles en route to ruling the M3 World Championship.

The Philippine bet garnered a total of 53.29 million hours watched, 41% of which came from the historic world tournament last December.

Blacklist's M3 lower bracket clash with Indonesia's RRQ Hoshi amassed 3.10 million peak viewers. RRQ, meanwhile, is ahead of Blacklist in the ranking after it finished fourth as the most watched esports squad in 2021.

Ranking first is DWG Kia of League of Legends while Natus Vincere of Counter Strike: Global Offensive and South Korea's T1 of League of Legends came in second and third, respectively.

After RRQ, another MLBB team from Indonesia in EVOS Legends claimed the fifth spot and the MAD Lions came in sixth. Team Spirit of Dota 2 and League of Legends' Cloud9 and Gen.G Esports occupied the last three rankings.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL), which saw massive growth last year, was also hailed as the top most watched esports league after collecting 202 million hours watched, which was 112% higher than its viewership in 2020.
