Bren Victress falls short vs GPX Basreng in MLBB Women's Invitational semis; Bigetron Era claims title

Bren Victress bowed out of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women's Invitational after falling short against Indonesia's GPX Basreng, 2-1, in the semifinals on Sunday.

Bren was the lone Philippine team to advance to the semifinals of the competition.

GPX Basreng's win booked them a slot in the grand finals of the invitational tournament alongside fellow Indonesian team Bigetron Era, which swept Malaysia's Karra, 2-0, in the semis.

Bigetron Era eventually emerged as the champion after dispatching GPX Basreng, 3-1, in the best-of-5 finals series.

The prize pool for the tournament is $15,000.
