World champions Blacklist International, Bren Esports to slug it out in Sibol's Phase 2 MLBB qualifiers

Sibol, the Philippine national esports team, has released the Phase 2 bracket of its Mobile Legends: Bang Bang qualifiers for the Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam.

Two world champions from the country, Blacklist International and Bren Esports, will slug it out in the first round of the upper bracket while M3 first runner-up Onic Philippines faces Origen Esports.

Nexplay Evos will clash with EL Ganador Esports while Omega Esports and RSG Philippines will battle it out in the other bracket.

Losers of the opening round will not be facing outright elimination but will fall to the lower bracket where the road to the finals would be tougher.

Heavy favorite Blacklist will be without young guns OHEB and Edward due to age restrictions, but the M3 world titlist will be bannered by holdovers OhMyV33nus, Wise, Hadji, and Dex Star as well as surprise additions Owl and Dominic.

Phase 2 of the qualifiers is slated from January 27 to 30.
