Bren Esports unveils revamped roster for MPL Philippines Season 9

A new era is dawning for Bren Esports as the former world champions unveiled its roster for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 9.

Bren on Wednesday announced its Season 9 lineup, composed of six new additions and four holdovers from its previous campaign as the squad eyes to regain dominance in the league.

Still bannering the team are team captain Angelo Kyle "Pheww" Arcangel, David Charles "FlapTzy" Canon, Allan "Lusty" Castromayor, and Mujahid "Lord Malikk" Malik, all of whom were part of the team that won the M2 world title last year.

Bren also revealed six new faces in the team: Joy Boy, SUPER MARCO, Saxa, Pandora, Stowm, and Jowm.

"The long wait is over. Don't forget to show us your full support in the upcoming MPL-PH Season 9," Bren said in a tweet.

It will be a tough climb for Bren as they will be without M2 World Championship MVP Karl "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno, who recently joined another team, Echo.

Just weeks removed from KarlTzy's move, another star player Carlito "Ribo" Ribo Jr. announced that he will be taking a break from the professional scene.

Bren was a dominant force in the MPL Philippines after it ruled Season 6 while also comprising some of the core of the Philippine national esports team Sibol in a gold medal run in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games.
