Four Team Lakay fighters set for ONE: Winter Warriors II

Four Filipino mixed martial artists from the fabled Team Lakay of Baguio City are set to compete at ONE: Winter Warriors II in Singapore on a yet-to-be-determined date.

A reliable source revealed that 19-year-old prodigy Jhanlo Sangiao, son of Team Lakay head coach Mark Sangiao, and former Brave CF bantamweight champion Stephen Loman will make their highly-anticipated promotional debut against Paul Lumihi and Yusup Saadulaev, respectively.

Former ONE bantamweight world champion Kevin Belingon, meanwhile, is also set to strut his wares against the hard-hitting Kwon Won Il of South Korea. Belingon, 34, is coming off three consecutive defeats and last saw action against former UFC fighter John Lineker in October 2020 where he lost via second-round technical knockout.

Also fighting on the card is one-time world title challenger and ONE flyweight grand prix grand finalist Danny Kingad. The 26-year-old from Baguio City is coming off a 23-month layoff to take on the former ONE flyweight world champion Kairat Akhmetov.
