RRQ Hoshi sends Onic Philippines packing with dominant series win in MPL Invitational

Indonesia's RRQ Hoshi appeared to have done their homework as they dominated Onic Philippines with a 2-0 sweep on Thursday for a  quarterfinal spot in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Profesional League (MPL) Invitational 2021.

With the loss, Blacklist International and RSG Philippines are the only remaining Philippine professional teams vying for this year's MPL Invitational title.

RRQ proved to be the better team in Game 1 after they weathered numerous luminous lord pushes from Onic PH and successfully punished their Philippine counterparts's aggression in the 25th minute via a 5-0 wipeout to take the lead.

Albert Neilsen "Alberttt" Iskandar displayed his superb mastery of Yi Sun-shin by finishing with a 9-3-KDA while Rivaldi "R7" Fatah had a perfect Esmeralda performance with a 4-0-8 KDA.

It was still all RRQ in Game 2 as they easily established a 5-0 kill lead by the 5th minute off Firm Priest "Psycho" Firdaus's (Yve) 3-0-1 KDA.

Onic tried to mount a comeback after taking a 4-1 exchange during the 6th minute clash but RRQ quickly retaliated with a 4-0 wipe in the 8th minute to wrestle control of the match for good.

The Indonesian powerhouse finished the series in the 15th minute with a 21-6 kill rampage.
