MPL Philippines analysts and casters nominated and ranked their top three candidates for the MVP plum, with each candidate being given a corresponding score based on rankings and nomination count.
Only players from the top two teams Blacklist and Onic, who won weekly MVPs or had excellent in-game stats or had outstanding performance for his team, and had no serious violations of league rules, were allowed to be nominated.
The MPL playoffs will start on Thursday, with Nexplay Evos playing RSG Philippines and Omega Esports going against Echo PH.
