Yuka Saso wraps up Scottish Open at joint-15th

Yuka Saso failed to barge onto the podium of the Trust Golf Women’s Scottish Open after wrapping up the four-round 72-hole course tournament in joint 15th place.

The Filipino-Japanese golfer fired a 4-under par 68 in the fourth and final round at the Dumbarnie Links, Scotland on early Monday (Manila time).

Saso opened the round hitting three birdies in the first seven holes, however, she bogeyed the eighth and ninth holes.

The 20-year-old ace birdied once more on the 11th, 13th, 15th, and 17th holes and bogeyed on the 12th to wrap up the back nine and tally a total of 281 through four rounds.

This finish saw Saso improve from her outing in the third round where she carded 2-over 74 to crash out of the top 10. She previously held the second and fifth spots in first and second rounds after firing 67 and 72, respectively.

Topping the tournament is American Ryann O'Toole who fired 17-under par 271 followed by Lydia Ko of New Zealand and Atthaya Thitikul of Thailand.

Saso, meanwhile, was tied with six other participants in 15th place.
