The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Season 96 actions continued on Friday with the inaugural speed kicking event.
John Patrick Moneda of the Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) scored a total of 6.733 to bag the gold in the juniors' flyweight division.
Reymundo Calamba III of the San Beda University settled for silver with his 6.558 finish while Chris Daniel Barrozo bagged the bronze with 6.375 points.
In the bantamweight division, Ignatius Vicente Lorenzo Pinera of SBU took home the gold plum after tallying 6.750 points while LPU's Dirk Ranque finished second with 6.483. Lebron James Alemania wound up in third place with a score of 6.200.
