Stipe Miocic gets 60-day suspension after KO loss to Ngannou

Former UFC heavyweight world champion Stipe Miocic is facing a 60-day suspension following his latest defeat.

According to a report by mixedmartialarts.com, the suspension was handed down by the Nevada State Athletic Commission after Miocic's brutal second-round knockout loss against the new heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in the main event of UFC 260 this past weekend.

Though stoppage was definitely not a pleasant sight, Miocic guaranteed that he is doing just fine in his recent post on social media.

"First and foremost, I'm ok. I know that fall wasn't my most graceful fall, but I was unconscious, so it happens," he wrote on Instagram.

"Losses aren't fun, they always sting for a while, but that's the beast of this business. You can't win them all, and it's important to understand that losing is just as much a part of sports (and life) as winning," he said. —MGP, GMA News
