Alex Eala receives wild card for Miami Open qualifiers
Alex Eala just got a golden opportunity to compete against the best tennis players in the world after receiving a wild card in the Miami Open qualifiers.
Rafa Nadal Academy announced the good news on social media, Tuesday, proudly sharing a poster of their 15-year-old Filipino scholar.
"Looking forward to an awesome experience!" Alex wrote on Facebook, sharing RNA's post.
The Miami Open will be held from March 22 to April 4 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Eala started 2021 with a bang after claiming her first pro title in Manacor and notching consecutive quarterfinal appearances in her subsequent tournaments.
In 2020, she won the Australian Open Juniors doubles title and reached the singles semifinals in the French Open Juniors.
Eala is currently ranked no. 736 in the WTA and no. 3 in the ITF Juniors.
