Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Pro League Philippines opens new season on March 19

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League - Philippines (MPL PH) is set to open its seventh season on March 19.

Ten teams will vie for the title beginning in the group stage, where two groups of five teams will compete in a round robin format.

Group A consists of Aura PH, Onic PH, Cignal Ultra, Work-Auster Force, and reigning world champion BREN Esports.

Group B will have Omega Esports, Execration, Blacklist International, Nexplay Esports, and Laus Playbook Esports.

Teams will score points with each best-of-three match—a 2-0 victory earns 3 points, a 2-1 win earns 2 points, a 1-2 loss earns 1 point, and a 0-2 loss earns zero.

Each team will face those in their own group twice and play once against the teams from the other group. The top four teams in each group advances to the playoffs.

In the first week of competition, Omega will battle Execration on March 19, while BREN will see action on March 20 and March 21 against Onic and Nexplay, respectively.
