Veteran MMA ref John McCarthy tears Dana White: 'You are so pathetic'

Veteran mixed martial arts official and Bellator commentator John McCarthy did not mince words in his response over Dana White’s controversial video that puts the media in a bad light.

Earlier this week, the UFC president released a video on his social media attacking the press for the coverage that his promotion received amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

But McCarthy, who worked as an MMA referee as early as 1994 in the UFC, was having none of White’s tirade.

“Here’s the best part of this whole thing, here’s a guy that says, ‘I don’t give a f-ck about the media.’ First off, I don’t even look at us as media, but that’s ok. But, the ‘I don’t give a f-ck about the media,’” McCarthy started in the Weighing In podcast.

“But then [White] always complains about clickbait. You know, ‘these media guys and that clickbait bulls--t that they do’ and it’s like, and what the f-ck did you and your little team do, man? You little clickbait b-tch.”

McCarthy’s response lasted 14 minutes as he attacked White for allegedly being pathetic, for taking the media out of context, and for supposedly patting himself on the back among many others.—LDF, GMA News
