Fil-Am Mark Striegl blasted in 51 seconds in UFC debut

Said Nurmagomedov made easy work out of Filipino-American Mark Striegl following a 51-second demolition on the prelims of UFC Fight Island 6 this Sunday in Abu Dhabi.

The utterly outmatched Striegl went to throw a one-two combination only to catch a counter left hook on top that momentarily dropped him.

Striegl went for a single-leg takedown as he got up but was made to pay for it as he repeatedly ate punches to the head until he was out, prompting the referee to halt the contest in round one.

The technical knockout victory improved Nurmagomedov’s record to 14-2 while Striegl fell to 18-3. — LA, GMA News
