Nadal himself conquered the French Open for his 13th championship in Paris and clinched his 20th Grand Slam title to tie Roger Federer's record.
Eala previously ranked no. 4 after winning the Australian Open doubles title with Indonesian partner Priska Madelyn Nugroho.
After her inspired run in Paris, Eala said she is proud to represent the Philippines and hopes that more Filipinos will be interested to play the sport. —MGP, GMA News
