X-ray of Tyron Woodley's broken rib posted following loss to Colby Covington

A photo of Tyron Woodley’s broken rib has been shared on social media following his loss to former UFC interim welterweight champion Colby Covington at UFC Fight Night last Sunday.

Woodley, an ex-UFC welterweight world champion, lost by way of technical knockout in the fifth round after he screamed in pain while on the mat with Covington.

He complained that he popped his rib during the fight which was later confirmed by mixed martial arts reporter Ariel Helwani as he shared the x-ray on Twitter.

“X-Ray of Tyron Woodley’s broken rib, courtesy of Woodley,” Helwani wrote.

“He said it popped earlier in the fight and then tried to use the guillotine to stand up and it popped. “It was the most pain ever,” he said.”
