Fil-Am MMA star Mark Striegl has been offered to fight in UFC

Filipino-American mixed martial arts star Mark Striegl has been offered to fight in the world’s premier MMA organization UFC, but he has yet to sign the contract, sources tell GMA News Online.

The 32-year-old Striegl competed with various local and international MMA promotions early in his career including the URCC, Legend FC, and PXC.

After a 2-1 stint at ONE Championship, Striegl went back to the local circuit in URCC where he won his next four fights. His last outing in April 2019 against Shunichi Shimizu ended in a no contest.

An excellent wrestler with a professional MMA record of 18-2, Striegl won 14 fights by way of submission and struck a gold medal in Sambo at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games. — LA, GMA News
