Ali Abdelaziz to work with ONE, willing to make Cejudo vs Johnson trilogy

Renowned mixed martial arts manager Ali Abdelaziz will start to work with ONE Championship to help the Asian promotion fill its roster with more world-class talent.

Abdelaziz manages some of the top names in the world of professional MMA including UFC lightweight world champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

“I just want to express my excitement with working with ONE, I represent around 300 fighters, some of the biggest fighters in the world which we can work with,” he said.

“I think I have a lot of guys right now, some up and coming fighters, world champions, big names and one day some of them can become free agents and join ONE. I am excited to work.”

Another big name Abdelaziz has under his stable is Olympic gold medalist and two-division UFC world champion Henry Cejudo, who recently teased coming out of retirement for a third fight with Demetrious Johnson on social media.

The two best flyweights in the world have shared the cage in the UFC and currently has a 1-1 record over each other.

“If this is real talk [from Cejudo], I have to talk to both parties ’cause I would love to see that match between them,” Abdelaziz stated.

“Right now Henry Cejudo is still a UFC fighter, but if two people want to do something, we can do it but we have to get everything to agree.”

For now, Abdelaziz says he is going to sit with ONE Championship founder and CEO Chatri Sityodtong to discuss the fighters he can take to the Asian MMA powerhouse.
