UFC 251 weigh-ins: Three world title fights all set for fight day


The stage is set for UFC’s first pay-per-view event on July 11 (July 12 PHL time) at Fight Island in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

UFC 251 is slated to kick-off its series of events at Fight Island with three world championship fights which are now official after all the fighters made weight.

In the main event, Kamaru Usman is set to defend his UFC welterweight world title against fan-favorite Jorge Masvidal. Both fighters tipped the scale at the 170-pound limit.

A highly-anticipated rematch will grace the octagon when Alexander Volkanovski defends his UFC featherweight world title against ex-champ Max Holloway. Volkanovski and Holloway made the featherweight limit of 145 pounds.

A new king of the bantamweight division will be decided when Petr Yan takes on Brazilian legend and former UFC featherweight world champion Jose Aldo. Both athletes made the 135-pound limit.
