Junna Tsukii delivers 1st karatedo gold for PHL

Junna Tsukii delivered the Philippines' first gold medal in karatedo at the Southeast Asian Games on Saturday at the World Trade Center.

Tsukii beat Vietnam's Thi Huong Dinh in the women's 50kg kumite final.

In the men's 55 kg kumite, Norman Montalvo bagged the silver medal after beating Malaysia's Prem Kumar Selvam in the final.

Meanwhile, John Enrico Vasquez and clinched the bronze medals in the men's and women's individual kata.
