Judo adds another gold, 3 bronzes for PHL

Philippine bet Shugen Nakano claimed the gold medal at the Southeast Asian Games judo competition at the LausGroup Event Center in Pampanga Thursday.

Nakano outclassed Indonesian Budi Prasetiyo for the gold medal in the men's -66kg event.

Meanwhile, Khrizzie Pabulayan clinched bronze after defeating Malaysia's Xuan Le Goh in the women's -52kg category. Keisei Nakano also won bronze in the -73kg category.

Furukawa Rena also claimed bronze in the women's -57 event.

Earlier, Filipino-Japanese judoka Kiyomi Watanabe defended her title in the women's 63kg category.
