Muay Thai delivers gold, silver for Team PHL

Muay Thai delivered a gold and a silver medal for the Philippines at the Southeast Asian Games on Wednesday.

Jearome Calica and Joemar Gallaza captured the gold in the men's Wai Kru Mai Muay event with a score of 9.590, winning comfortably against silver medalists Vietnam's Tang Quyen Nguyen and Tran Duy Nhat Nguyen.

Meanwhile, Rusha Mae Bayacsan and Irendin Lepatan claimed the silver in the women's event, scoring 9.450 to finish narrowly behind Thailand's Thanawan Thongduang and Ruchira Wongsriwo.
