After trouncing Singapore on Monday, 6-0, the defending champions took down Indonesia, 11-1, on Tuesday to remain unbeaten in the tournament.

"I'm so happy that we are doing what everyone expects and that is to win convincingly," head coach Randy Dizer said.

"I think we're ready... winning as one is what we have in mind and that's how we will finish it," he added.

In the men's division, the Blu Boys blew past Singapore, 8-0, to extend their winning streak to three.

The Blu Boys defeated their Thai and Indonesian counterparts earlier this week.

With the victory, the defending champions are right on track for another gold medal in the SEA Games.

"Nasunod 'yong mga plano namin sa team, especially 'yong hitting and pitching rotation and 'yong teamwork namin, napakaganda," head coach Apol Rosales said.

"Hindi naman tayo malakas, hindi naman tayo mahina pero ‘yong focus talagang hindi nawawala,” he added. —Ma. Angelica Garcia/MGP, GMA News
