PHL cops silver and bronze in SEA Games lawn bowl
The Philippine national lawn bowl team bagged one silver and one bronze medal in the 30th Southeast Asian Games at the Clark Global City in Pampanga Wednesday.
The trio of Nancy Toyco, Bruce Asuncion and Ainie Knight settled for silver after falling short to Singapore's Lim Poh Eng, Goh Quee Kee and Lim Shermeen Xin Yi, 13-16, in the finals of the women's triples event. Malaysia clinched bronze.

The quartet of Robert Guarin, Emmanuel Portacio, Leoncio Carreon and Ronald Lising placed third in the men's fours category after defeating the Thailand team, 14-13 in the bronze medal match.
