PHL team adds 2 golds, 2 silvers to arnis' medal haul

The Philippine arnis team continued its dominance in the 30th Southeast Asian Games and added two more gold medals and two silver to its medal haul at the Angeles University Foundation in Pampanga Tuesday.

Crisamuel Delfin and Mary Allin Aldeguer each delivered a gold medal after ruling the men's anyo non-traditional and the women's anyo non-traditional events, respectively.

Meanwhile, Mark David Puzon and Ryzza Jezzel Sanchez both nabbed silver in the men's traditional open weapon and the women's traditional open weapon categories, respectively.

Arnis has been the top source of gold medals for the Philippines as the arnisadors won all but six of the 20 at stake in the three-day competition. — LA, GMA News
