PHL triathletes take gold in mixed team relay

The Philippines' triathletes bagged another gold medal in the 30th Southeast Asian Games after winning the mixed team relay event in Subic on Monday.

Kim Mangrobang, Clare Adorna, John Chicano, and Fernando Caseres finished the relay event in 1 hour and 33 minutes, ahead of the Singaporean team which clocked an hour and 37.58 minutes. The Indonesians finished just a minute behind Singapore to settle for bronze.

This is the Philippines' third gold in the triathlon events.

Chicano and Mangrobang secured the first two on Sunday.
