The Philippine women's anis team swept the four gold medals in the 30th Southeast Asian Games full contact padded stick competition at the Angeles University Foundation in Pampanga.

Sheena del Monte notched gold after defeating Vietnam's Thi Huong Nguyen in the bantamweight category.

Jedah Mae Soriano followed it with a victory over Myanmar's Maw Oo for gold in the featherweight division.

Ross Ashley Monville added another gold from the lightweight category after beating Moe Moe Aye of Myanmar.

Abegail Abad bagged the fourth gold after holding off Vietnam's Thi Cuc Nguyen in the welterweight division.

The women's home squad opened their campaign on Sunday with one gold and two bronze medals.

Earlier, the home team continued its dominance and won three gold medals and a silver in the men's full contact padded stick.

With the current performance of the teams, the Philippines is on track to the overall crown for the first time in 14 years.
