SEA GAMES 2019: John Derick Farr snatches gold in men's mountain bike downhill
Cyclist John Derick Farr boosted the Philippines' campaign for the overall crown in the 30th Southeast Asian Games after bagging gold in the men's mountain bike downhill event in Laurel, Batangas Monday.

It was a 1-2 finish for the home team as Eleazar Barba Jr. secured silver.

The Philippines earlier copped a gold medal in the women's mountain bike downhill event, thanks to Lea Denis Belgira.
Filipina duathlete Monica Torres also won gold in the women's duathlon event.
