Estie Gay Liwanen captured a gold medal in Kurash to add to the Philippine medal tally at the Southeast Asian Games on Sunday at the LausGroup Event Centre, Pampanga.

Liwanen competed in the female 63kg category of the event, a folk wrestling style practiced in Central Asia.
