Mary Flor Diaz, Hidilyn's cousin, cops bronze in weightlifting

Philippines' Mary Flor Diaz won a bronze medal in the Southeast Asian Games weightlifting event at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium Sunday.

Diaz, 2016 Olympic silver medalist and 2018 Asian Games champion Hidilyn's cousin, nabbed bronze in the women's 45kg category after a total lift of 158kg, 70kg snatch and 89kg clean and jerk.

Among the other countries participating in the event are Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Timor-Leste and Vietnam.
