PHL women's sepak takraw team bags SEA Games gold


The Philippines is on a roll in the 30th Southeast Asian Games after capturing gold in the women's sepak takraw competition at the Subic Gymnasium Sunday.

The home team defeated Indonesia, 670-660, in the women's hoop event to add another gold to the country's medal haul.

Earlier, John "Rambo" Chicano and Kim Remolino finished first and second, respectively in the men's triathlon.

Kim Mangrobang and Kim Kilgroe also did a 1-2 finish in women's triathlon.

Philippines' bet Agatha Wong, meanwhile, added another gold after dominating the women's taolu taijiquan. Daniel Parantac also won bronze in the men's taolu taijiquan event.
