Pinoy skaters say love and passion for sport keep them going
Pinoy skaters Christopher Caluza and Edrian Paul Celestino aren't just talented figure skaters, they're also very much in love with the sport.
During the men's figure skating short program at the Southeast Asian Games on Friday at the SM Megamall Skating Rink, Caluza ranked second while Celestino ranked third.

Asked what keeps these skaters going, Caluza answered during the end of the game, Friday, "That’s the thing: love what you do."
He added, "Back then, when I was competing as a kid,we always had our inspiring skaters from way back then but as I started competing internationally and then I quit then I came back, the only person that inspired me was me so I had to get myself out there and realize that I love what I do."
Celestino, on the other hand said, "For this competition, inspiration comes from within ourselves and sheer love and passion for skating."
Although Celestino felt a bit nervous for the games, Caruza said he didn't feel pressured at all. "Well for me, I deserve to be here so there's no pressure."
Caluza and Celestino will soon be on ice for the men's free skate this coming Sunday, 6 pm, at the same venue. — LA, GMA News
