PHL skaters rank second, third in men's short program
Philippine bets Christopher Caluza and Edrian Paul Celestino had a strong showing after ranking second and third in the men's figure skating short program at the Southeast Asian Games on Friday at the SM Megamall Skating Rink.
2017 SEA Games gold medalist Julian Zhi Jie Yee claimed the top spot with a total score of 63.35 points, but he looked shaky in the combination jump.
The Filipinos were not far behind as Caluza scored a total of 62.37 points and Celestino finished with 61.52 points.

Thailand's Micah Kai Lynette landed on fourth place with 60.77 points, while Singapore's Pagiel Sng placed fifth with 52.06 points.
Indonesia's Muhammad Dwi Rizqy Apolianto and Calvin Pratama were sixth and seventh, with total scores of 38.78 points and 31.04 points.
The men's free skate will be on Sunday, 6 pm, at the same venue. —MGP, GMA News
