PHL's Alisson Perticheto skates to first in short program


Philippines' Alisson Perticheto delivered a clean skate to grab first place in the short program of the ladies' figure skating at the Southeast Asian Games on Friday at SM Megamall Skating Rink.

The 2017 SEA Games bronze medalist earned a technical score of 30.87 and a presentation score of 22.78, for a total score of 53.65 points.

In second place is Singapore's Chloe Ing, the 2017 SEA Games silver medalist, with a total score of 50.67 points.

Indonesia's Savika Refa Zahira completed the top three with a total score of 32.62 points.

Thailand's Thita Lamsam finished at fourth place with a score of 27.30 points, while Indonesia's Tasya Putri landed on fifth place with a score of 26.34 points.

Teekhree Silpa-Archa from Thailand ranked sixth place with a total score of 26.18. Malaysia's Aina Sorfina Mohd Aminudin and Sze Chyi Chew were seventh and eighth, with total scores of 25.66 and 22.78, respectively.

Philippine bet Cirinia Gillett dropped all the way to ninth place after failing to land her jumps, garnering a total score of 20.93 points.

The ladies' free skate will be on Sunday, 4:15 pm, at the same venue. —MGP, GMA News
